CAR AND FERRY

From Calais or Boulogne to Nanteuil Auriac de Bourzac is approximately 500 miles and can be easily done in a day (7 to 8 hours on the motorway). If you catch an early boat you can be at the domaine by mid afternoon. The recently opened motorway (A28) via Rouen and Le Mans cuts out Paris.

Other ports include St Malo, Le Havre and Dieppe in the West and San Sebastian and Biarritz in the South.

TRAIN

You can travel by Eurostar from St. Pancras to Lille and then catch the TGV to Angoulême which takes three hours. Cars can be hired near the station and driving time is about 40 minutes to the domaine (details on request).

AIR

There are a number of airports within easy reach - the nearest being Bergerac but Bordeaux, Limoges and Poitiers all have airports which are easily accessible. Cheap flights are currently abundant particularly in the low season.

Rented cars (Hertz and Europcar) can be driven away from the airport and are generally available but need to be booked in advance. Hertz have a special arrangement with Ryanair if you book early enough.
